Having been a teaching artist for 35 years, including 2 years in Spain, Cecile Moran's painting is allegorical in nature and relies strongly on the interaction of brightly colored images to project the story. These images are based on personal experiences, and in some instances, those particular to women. She received a BFA from Boston University and an MA in Art Education from California State University. Additional study was provided by scholarship to the Boston Museum School of Fine Arts. Her work is found in numerous private collections and has been exhibited in Massachusetts, California, New York and Florida.
